Help Daikon the dryad save her tree from destruction!
The local humans' war has spilled over into Daikon's forest, and the only things between a thousand fireballs and her tree are her trusty Shrubshields. Control them to fend off the flames as long as possible!
WASD to move (but only as far as her tree's roots can reach)
LShift to speed up her Shrubshields (but watch your stamina!)
Gradually increasing difficulty! A depressingly unwinnable game!
Entry for GMTK Game Jam 2021, and first ever game made (apart from a snake clone I made in HS in Visual Basic 4.0 in the early 00s -- it's been a while since those days).

Hey! Cool concept! I was afraid it would be difficult to apprehend but it was simple and fun to play ^^ The theme was nice as well, well done! (38 was my best score....)
Omg the music! So good! It's so sad that this is unwinnable because I really want to win against my impending flame death. Fun game!
